- Operated from Brazil. Email is the only channel; there is no telephone line and no office open to visitors.
What to include
A reply is faster when the message contains enough to act on without a second exchange.
- A subject line naming the matter: correction, refund, privacy, or general.
- For a correction: the page address, the sentence in question, and the source that contradicts it.
- For a billing or refund matter: the order reference, the email address used at purchase, and the approximate date.
- For a privacy request: the specific right being exercised, so the request can be processed without further questions.
Common requests
- Corrections and source disputes. Handled by the desk and answered whether or not the correction is accepted.
- Refunds. Processed under the refund policy.
- Access, correction or deletion of personal data. Processed under the privacy policy.
- Permission to quote or republish. Requests are considered; see the terms of use for the default position.
What this desk does not do
- No consultations, sessions, assessments, coaching, plans or one-to-one services of any kind, paid or unpaid.
- No professional, medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and no comment on any individual situation.
- No crisis or emergency support. Anyone in immediate danger should contact local emergency services. Correspondence here is not monitored continuously and is not a substitute for professional or emergency assistance.
